This report may be published in the future for general usage. All of the programs mentioned continue to provide excellent winter programs and serve as centers of focus for winter ecology. Two new programs include one offered by Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratories at Gothic, Colorado, originated by David Inouye, and one called Winter Ecology of Interior Alaska through the University of Alaska at Fairbanks, taught by Charles Lennox. There are, of course, many other programsespecially at nature centers throughout the United States and Canada.
